About Copper Dragon

Copper Dragon

There's something unique about metallic dragons in the whole Dungeons and Dragons environment that makes them worth a study.

Belonging to the metallic dragons race, copper dragons are known to be the cleverest of them all. These mighty beings are witty, sly and possess a certain charisma about them.

Copper dragons have two amazing breath weapons to help them in a battle. The weapons include a line of strong acid, and a cone of gas that's capable of slowing the enemies. They surely are formidable creatures when it comes to combat.

Copper dragons build their lairs in hilltops, dry uplands, rocky terrains, and in narrow caverns. They are often found serving Brandobaris, Vergadain, and Erevan Ilesere. They are likely to hide their precious treasures using false walls, while putting less-valuable things away from their chief collection to distract thieves.

Characterized by small faces and backward-pointing cheek ridges, copper dragons also have frills on the back of their lower jaws. They possess long horns starting above their eyes and beautifully extending backwards. They have triangular blades growing down their chins and their eyes look like pupil-less glowing turquoises as they age. The ends of their wings feature red and green discolorations, while short articulated alar limbs support the wings at the front. The young babies have metallic-looking brown scales that slowly turn coppery and glossy as they grow up. Old dragons exhibit a green shade for their scales.

Copper dragons are quite interested in fine art. They like well-designed jewelry and beautiful metalwork. The species loves to have fowl and small game in the wild, but those that in close proximity to human settlements also love to have wine and human foods.
